Olsen is a top-tier Canadian & European women’s apparel company. The company has stores all across Canada and Europe. Olsen approached Social Know How to launch a national (Canadian) Social Media Community Growth and Direct Response Campaign.
FOCUS
The focus of this campaign was to grow Olsen’s online community (through Facebook Likes and Engagement) as well as explore the effectiveness of a strategic direct response campaign on Facebook. NetCreative Media, a local Internet Marketing company that we collaborate with, was brought in to handle the direct response aspect of this campaign.
OUTCOME
Overall, the campaign was a success. Not only did we meet our objectives, but we exceeded them. We were also able to acquire valuable market research data for our client; intel that will surely go a long way in helping them continue providing value for the women that cherish the Olsen brand.

 

Facebook Community Reach increased by a staggering 488% after just one campaign, which lasted for approximately three weeks. During this period of time, we also ran a direct response ad, which sent traffic to an email opt-in landing page. The traffic we generated for this part of the campaign was highly targetted so we were able to achieve high conversation ratios. Typically, low single-digit conversation ratios (3% – 5%) are considered to be good within the internet marketing community. Our campaign achieved an impressive 29% conversation ratio. The people that opted onto the email list received special offers that they could redeem in-store. The sales revenue that was generated through these offers what was most impressive as it equated to a 748% ROI of ad dollars spent.
